Bradwell IT Solutions Ltd (formerly Danecastle Ltd) was formed in 1990 to provide electronic design consultancy to the control & instrumentation market. With a background in product and systems design in factory automation, the company has clients in the food, construction, refractories and automotive sectors.

Managing Director Robert (Bob) Holland is a Chartered Electrical Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (FIEE). Bob's background has included the development of a number of pioneering products for the HMI and SCADA markets, with a significant part of his career spent in the baking and construction industries.

The measurement of moisture in bulk materials came to dominate Bob's work for several years, with one of the company's clients (Hydronix Ltd) having now achieved a significant world-wide market for its products.

The company operates from a self-contained office suite of approximately 1200sq ft in the grounds of Throapham House - a listed building located within a few miles of junction 31 of the M1 - providing plenty of space, a pleasant working environment and excellent communications.
